I took this photos in Gros Morne NP in Western Newfoundland.
Watch the moose's rack (the second one)
I was 20 yards from that bedded moose.
I love the rock ptramigan photo - the bird was trying to lead us away from the brood and was practically at our feet.

Nice pics of the Moose, Seen lots of those growing in NF on the Burin Pennisula. Maybe going there next year for Moose crossbow hunting .

Hunting with the crossbow in Newfoundland Newfiejig??? I was told it's not recognised as a legal hunting weapon!
