Vixen

Post by deerdhunter »

I would love to buy a vixen for my son but this will probably go for more than you can order a new one.

black vixen

Won the bid and she is on the way! May have paid too much?? but after reading the posts here, just had to have one! Is there a significance/ difference (other than the obvious) between the black and current vixens? I have 2219s- are they too heavy? Thanks, DWT

wesome,

I have shot both 2216s and 2219s from my Vixen, and I like 2216s the best. I feel 2219s are a bit heavy for this bow. I used the 2219s mainly with my Maxpoint.

Sorry for the tardy reply...don't play w/ this 'puter thing much in the evenings! ...and yes Loveville is right in the heart of the "mother county". Thanks all for the responses. Can't wait to shoot/hunt that Vixen. Will be my 1st crossbow season and am looking fwd to it.

Hi I just got my first crossbow a Vixen and I'm ready to hunt but I was wondering about bolt and broadhead selection. Also is there anything I can do for noise can you use spyders on a crossbow. Thanks from Salisbury Md. :)

I love the Vixen, shoots nice and accurate, just hated the poop brown colour! haha

If I was keeping mine, then I would paint the stock and limbs. But I'm selling it and keeping my Pheonix. :P

Hey Tye,

Get some spray paint, black, brown, green, grey, and make a homemade camo pattern for it. I've seen a few home jobs that look good. Maybey do a "test run" on a 2x4 board to see how it will look.
I hunt for memories, the meat's a bonus!

Well you have to equip the family ! LOL She has a compound but surgery and all made it not a viable option. So with the daughters (2) wanting to hunt and 1 is too young to pull enough poundage I need a couple of them. The Barnett is going bye-bye.

The Vixen looks ready to rock. All we need is some brown fur at 20 yds.
