glare in scope

Post by taxman »

i have a 10 pt scope(not red dot) 3x x 33. if there is any light behind me, it is extremely hard to see the target. maybee i need to hold the scope loser to my eye. does leupold make a xbow scope? i think its stupid to be hunting w/ a $1,200 x bow using a $60 scope. thanks

I use the Excalibur Varizone Scope and I have never noticed any glare in it? It's a pretty good scope for the price.

Off topic, but what the heck kind of bow are you using that is worth $1200.00? US or Canadian dollars, it doesn't matter!

TAXMAN........I don't think Leopould makes a xbows scope, yet.If and when they do, they'll definitly won't some BIG bucks. Quality of optics isn't as important with the xbow as it is with rifles, xbows are close-qauter tools. The Vari-zone by Excal is all it takes to hit the mark at 50yds........

Post by taxman »

thanks but i think that im just going to buy another xbow at seasons end. why would you trade your exomax? is that the top of the line excalibur xbow? there is nothing wrong w/ my 10 pt--its just that the excaliburs are faster.
