mrxbower, most of the land I hunt is private,300 acers across from my house that is family owned and you know how family is! There is state forrest next to the state park that is open to the public that borders our property. I know there is deer on that land. Sorry, that's the best I can do...

mrxbower, park on Rt.118 on the west bound lane side approx. 1/4 mile past the first black-top road on the left past Spencers Bar,there is a sign "Ricketts Glenn State Park". From there just start heading up the Mt. and it's all good deer hunting. You will see metal plates on trees that say "State Forrest",that is the boundery line, bring your hikeing boots and good luck... :P
