Question on Vixen

I have just bought my first xbow a Vixen . I am planning on hunting whitetail and wanted to make sure I was doing things right. Can anyone advise on best bolt and broadhead and effective range. Thanks Newbie RB Salisbury Md.

I personally shoot 18" Gold Tip laser lls with 4" vanes , 100gr 4 bladed Slick Tricks, a total of 330 gr. with my Vixens.

I use the same set up as Digger and I'm very happy with it. The only difference is I use the WASP Boss heads. I hold my shots to around 30 yards on deer sized game.

GoldTips or 2213s with a good 100 grain broadhead should be fine. I like G-5 Montec or SlickTrick broadheads.
