Vixen vs. Phoenix

Post by vixenmaster »

Which is the quietest of the two? Or does it really matter? I don't want the high poundage of the Exocet or Max. I can afford the Phoenix, barely but will have to use the peep for this year, as i need the rope cocker and extra string and the stringer. :D

First off, I think the stringer is a waste. I can easily take my string off and put it back on.. The video that comes with the bow will show you how to do that.

Second.... My Pheonix is quiter than my Vixen, but that's cuz the Pheonix has the dissipator bars/pads on it and the Vixen doesn't.

I don't know about the noise issue, but I can tell you I have no problems stringing my bow, but my father really appreciates the stringer.

I find the stringer real handy with my vixen. Two reasons, less chance of ever twisting a limb. If breaking in a new fast flight flemish string, it has to be shot then twisted for the correct brace height several times. You should have a spare string ready to put on, a stretched one. :)
