Saw the photo you posted on the "limbs" thread.......have you noticed any change in point of impact when you remove and reinstall the limb assembly as in the photo??? Sure would be a lot easier to transport an Excalibur if it can be taken down and reassembled without a change in point of impact!!

i shot the 3d circuit a couple of years ago with a fella that used to do as you mention...from a hunting standpoint as far as change in poi, you would notice little or no difference...from a tackdriving state of repetitiveness, there is a small difference...usual adjustments for this fella would be a click (or so) either up or down...keep in mind, these folks are shooting for one inch sized 12 rings up to 50 yards...not a big deal, but it is worth noting that the front assembly will not seat itself "exactly" as before...

Looks like it would be easy enough to drill a couple of holes for locating pins so it would seat exactly the same each time......the pins could either be threaded or red loctited into the riser with corresponding holes in the rail.
