I have an older Exocet with the carved limbs.Today I decided to change the string as the old one was fraying. If you decide to change the string be sure that you've had your Wheaties. Took me three tries but I got her done. It requires more strength to change the string than to de-cock the bow.
I took it out for some target practice and it worked well.Marked the string with white out after several shots then I went and sat in a tree stand for a couple of hours. All that I saw was some chick-a-dees and somebody's black cat--maybe it was a Hallowe'en spook just getting home from the big night.
I'll get out tomorrow if it doesn't rain and give the deer another chance.

Stringing the x bow
dsr
I just took the Exocet out of the locker and was trying to remember
how I unstrung it last year so I could string it this year then I remembered
the video on the "how to".......it was still the full of my arse to string it
then success, but the new string did not line up with the mark on the deck
#%%&!! so unstring and untwist and re string I look kinda funny doing it
but I have a system [can't really put it in to words] I think the Excalibur
stringer is next on the wish list!
