Nice buck! I would have certainly been disappointed to have to take him as well....not! I know he's great breeding stock...but I'd have taken him too!

Not a comforting thought to shoot one in the rain, but sometimes it's the only option. Looks like you made the right choice!

Excellent Buck! It's been bad weather here all but one or two weekends of the season so far. This past weekend Super windy again. Dont like to hunt the rain but do what we have to and hope not to track far. Looks like a perfect shot to. Congrats! :D

Congratulations I would shoot Deer like that every year bstout. We just have incredible hunting pressure here in Pa and that is a nice Buck. :wink: Way to go. I used to have relatives in Bruce and Weyerhauser. Are you anywhere near there?

Very nice buck. I also tread the thought of tracking in the rain archery hunting or firearms.
