the picture that they show looks like it has carved tip, if so, then it would not be the 200lb bow that they list it as.

Tom, he's only a few miles down the 401 from us in Courtice, we could look at it there. The extra set of limbs are carved limb, and the one on the bow look the same, so it's a 185 lber.
The price he's got it to is pretty good also.

Correct me if I am wrong but that looks like a fast flight flemish string
so he has either got the wrong string (in which case the limbs will break)
or the bow has been upgraded to magtip limbs which would explain the extra set of limbs. I would bet on it being a older 185lb model upgraded.

I have a 2001 Excomag and it has the mag tips and doesn't have the same camo.

This bow is older than that.

Retails for $1,000?? C'mon...

I've never seen mag tip limbs with the Excalibur or model name on the limbs, only carved limbs. He's already getting $200 US more than what its worth.

...i can't remember seeing an older mag with this camo pattern..i remember the exocet had this pattern...if you look at the carved tip limbs, they would seem to be a different colour than the bow itself (it looks like this was an exocet, someone got a hold of some limbs (that at that time said exomag on them) and added them to the mainfraime...so is it really an exocet 165 # bow, with limbs that say mag on them, making itstill an exocet ???...why would there be an extra set of identical limbs ????...i can't see the front of the limbs that are on the bow...hmmmmm...

BJ is correct, I have a catalogue that features this bow.

It is an early to mid 90's 165lb Exocet model. The camo is what is called a "three colour camouflage finish" The extra limbs are from an Exomag with "Trailcover" camo.

Since the string appears to be a flemish twist "fastflight", hopefully it was only put on for the picture-taken, since if it was shot with this string the carved tipped limbs would have been jeopardized and prone to future failure.

The winning bid was $560.00 U.S.. Thats alot of money for that bow.
When that person realizes what he bought you may see it back on the auction block.
