Need help with crankaroo

HI ya'll,
I'm new here and sure could use some help. Just got a new Exomax. My first xbow. I tried t cock it with the cranckaroo, and one hook keeps jumpin the rail. Tried turnning upside down. That didn't help. Tried holding the string down , still jumps off.???

Please describe in detail how you mount the crankeroo onto the stock. What you describe doesn't sound possible.

I had some difficulty attaching the device to the stock until the hole at the back of the stock enlarged a bit through use.

I don't see how the hooks could jump off the string if the crankeroo is properly mounted to the stock.

Eye the butt end of your stock and make sure its straight with the main frame/rail. There was a small problem with a few of the stocks being molded and I guess they lean to one side. Maybe this is causing your problem. If so just contact Excalibur and they will fix it.

I use a crankerooon my Paradox, and found no difficulty using it. Take one hook and hook it on the string, take the running end of the crankeroo string and run it over the slot behind the safety and hook the string on the other side. Flip the switch on the crankeroo to wind it up, it will click as you wind it up, when the string clicks into the latch put the safrty on. If this still does not work , phone Excalibur at 1-800-463-1817 for more info or a new crankeroo.

Sounds like you are not pulling the rope between the hooks up and over the scope or rear sight and putting it in the groove in the stock.

Problem solved. I wasn't pulling the center of string, back up behind the stock.
