Not good enough with a computer to get the picture on ,but I hope I got the right link
Went hunting with my son last week and got this nice buck, not very big but tastes good. We were hunting in the moutains going down the hill,"the best way for a older guy kind of over weight" Came out of the trees into a small logging slash and stood for maybe 10 mins.looking around.Took one step and this deer erupted out ofv the snow about 10yds.in front of me,scared the c--p out of me because he was all covered with snow.He walked about another 10 or 15 yds. and turned and looked back. I aimed right behind his shoulder and let one go,but I think he took a step or started to walk away. He waked about another 50 yds. and layed down, then he put his head down and I thought he was donefore.I just stood because I was in the open and waited for him to die 5 or 10 mins. later he got up and went another 50yds. and did it all over again, and again then went into the trees where I lost sight of him. I went back to my truck and went and got my son who had gone further down the hill. This is starting to get a little long. Anyway we came back in 3 hrs.,tracked him down andhe was dead.Arrow went right through just ahead of the firewall.both sides but missed the lungs, the liver and any thing vital but made a pretty big hole. It was a very strange kill, hope the next is Quicker for the animal. I would like to thank all you guys for the advice you gave when I started.---Wayne
