Excalibur Torment!

Post by Harry Crabtree »

My wife just bought my Christmas present. She got me the Exomax crossbow, the complete accessory pack including scope, strap, and even a carrying bag. Then she said you can look at it until Christmas morning but you can't shoot it until then! I'm in torment!!

Guys, I listened to you crossbow pros on which model to get and it was tempting to go with the Ten Point! I do believe you're steering me right though in that it has less moving parts to go wrong and I can change the string myself. I priced at my local archery shop changing out the string and cables on a Ten Point and the guy told me about $80 which included labor and it had to be done normally about 200 or so shots! That's a lot per shot and I couldn't do it myself. That's what really sold me on the Excalibur. Again, thanks to all the guys who helped me settle on the Exomax. Will let you know how I do. Will practice during Christmas and then I'm taking a week off the last week of January to hunt my families 1200 acre farm in south Alabama. Thx again for the help.

This problem can be resolved in six easy steps, only half the number of steps needed for a drinking problem!!!!

Step 1

Send Wife to mall for a little last minute Christmas shopping.

Step 2

put together crossbow (it only takes 5 minutes)

Step 3

Go shoot

Step 4

When wife should be on her way home call her and request more items

Step 5

Go shoot more

Step 6

Take apart the bow just before she pulls into the drive and toss back under the tree
