To my Northern Friends From my home to yours I wish you a merry Xmas and a happy new year , As the year grow`s to a close I would like to say you have been a great bunch of guy`s , I really enjoy reading your post .

I keep telling my wife, I'd rather celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ, than supporting Walmart.

I just joked about that with my wife!!

I said "Jesus was born today, here is your cheap plastic crap from Walmart"

I realize on the internet that comment could be looked at as me mocking our Lord, I am not. My wife and I are both Christians and dislike the way Christmas is celebrated these days. We both feel the majority of people out there forgot what it is all about and think it's just a time to spend and consume. I was mearly making fun of that.
