wish list

Post by Boo »

Ok guys.... if you could design an xbow what would it look like and what would it do? and no goofy stuff, you know what I mean........
I want one that my wife can't see... just kidding. I want one that I can cut the stock so I can have a stock that fits me(shrot). Other than that I think my old Exocet is perfect. What do you want? javascript:emoticon('')

One like I have, (Excalibur Phoenix) with a 1lb trigger, and no trigger slop. With a 170-180 class buck standing in front of it looking the other direction, at 10 yds. Priceless. Butcher

The only thing I really wish for is a higher quality scope with the same markings as my max zone. I'm getting really tired of wiping moisture off lenses.

Ok here is my wish list for a crossbow.
  • -175-200lb for larger animals.
-a little narrower recurve, but still has the great balance they have now
    -standard wood stock option
-larger foot sturip for those COLD days that need larger boots
-different setup for the quiver, maybe a belt or pack attachment to attach the quiver when walking through the bush.
-maybe a hard cover for quiver to protect the fletching (your never in a hurry to get the second arrow anyway)
-hard case for the bow for travelling purposes.
That is my wish list for now.

X-bow improvements

I would like to see some way of being able to store the bolts inside the stock in hollow tubes or something. I do not like a quiver on my Vixen, I do not like a quiver on my belt, I do not like carrying a quiver. There has to be a better way.

ok....I gotta say it
How about a "machine gun crossbow" like on Van Helsing

(sorry..I know you said, "no goofy stuff"...but couldn't resist)
hehehe

Seriously though.....I think I have it all in my Pheonix.

Bigugly, I popped a pair of "flip up" lense covers on my Varizone...they're great.

I think Tom hit the nail on the head with these ideas!!!
-larger foot sturip for those COLD days that need larger boots
-different setup for the quiver, maybe a belt or pack attachment to attach the quiver when walking through the bush.

Thats it!
I'm all for gun control. To me, gun control is putting 2 bullets in the same hole... UNCLE TED

I'd settle for a scope with a "deer finder".
