I dry fired my Exomax several months ago, and only recently noticed that both dissipator bars are slightly bent. I tried clamping them in a vice and pounding them with a leather mallet, but had no success straightening them. Is there any special trick for straightening them out that I should know about?
I do em all the time with a press and a couple of pins to raise the ends while I press in the middle. You could probably do this in a vice easily with three 1/4" pins and a little thought....
