Which Excalibur to get for my wife..

Post by daveL »

I have an ExoMax that is absolutely incredible! Now my wife wants a crossbow. I will only buy Excalibur after shooting mine so which one do I get her. I want one that is fast but one she can pull back. Which one do you all recommend? Thanks.

Get her a Pheonix !75 lb 14" powerstroke and 305 fps. She just won't have to go so far to look for her passthroughs

I bought my wife the Exocet 200 but she could not draw it so that is now my bow. I then bought he the phoenix and she has no problems drawing it and now she looking so forward to hunting season.

That would depend on your wife how tall she is and how strong,
your best bet would be to take her to a proshop that carries the different Excals and let het try them and see which she is most comfortable with,
is she can only handle a Vixen and you get her a Phoenix she will not enjoy it as much as one shoe could cock and use confortably..
Take her to a proshop you will have fun while your there anyway..

I would let her try the all, but the Vixen would be easier for her to load than the others. If it is to be used for hunting whitetail or 3d a Vixen would do both quite well. It is hard to go wrong with any Excalibur Bow :D

My wife has weight trained for 20 years and has no problem with her Max and rope cocker....she is 5'6" 132 lbs.
Without being fit I don't think she could do that.
