I have some Beman Thunderbolts, and I get best results on target using Nap Thunderhead 100's with them. Never actually killed anything with that setup yet though.

The beeman Thunderbolts weight very close to the same as a 2216 aluminum shaft.

Famer is right they do wieght close to the 2216. I have used them for the 3-4 years and they work great. I had them set up with a Nap Spitfire 100gr comeing off my Exomag and never had a problem, I have taken 5 deer with this setup, including one spine shot (my fault miss jugde distance) and one qaurtering away shot that lodged in the oppistie shoulder. The rest were complete pass throughs.
shoot straight stay late.
