Some good looking gators. There must be some young fellas "hunting" that girl of yours too. Glad to see some girls getting into hunting.
I hunt for memories, the meat's a bonus!

M&M,

If you look close in the pictures right behind the head, you can see a couple inches of the cut line sticking out of them. The points were buried in pretty good, so we cut the line and rerig with a new point to speed up the time to get hunting again. We generallly aim for the neck area as it is not as hard to penetrate and you get better control of the gator by pulling it by the head. This becomes very important when it comes time to close the show. The point only attaches you to him but doesn't do a darn thing to hurt him. The only way to end it is a carefully placed bangstick shot to the brain. On this trip we went 3 gators for 3 shots.

Congradulations!!!

Wow I would love to go on a gator hunt but their's no creatures like that in Canada. If I head down your way do you think introducing me to a gator hunt could happen? I'm a novice, but what do you do with the gators now? And how many did your daughter shoot? She's very pretty like her Mom I bet.

Thanks and Good Huntin!!!

To get in on a hunt you need to get a license which are usually sold out within a couple of hours of when they go on sale in july. The gator hunts are highly regulated. Your best bet is to look into hiring a guide to take you. What do we do with them? Eat the meat, tan their hides, and mount the heads. The Score was daughter 2, Dad 1.

Can you bring anything gator related back to Canada??? I was under the impression you couldnt.
