Be carefull of the No-see-ums.

Post by caucious clay »

Went out this past weekend to get in a little pre-season scouting and got into a bed of chiggers and seed ticks. like an idiot I didn't bother using any repellent. Now I'm misserable and red and itchey all over and its nobodys falt but mine. I did find some great sign though. Mostly In the thick stuff. Go figure.

Chiggers.

Cautious Clay: I have found that if I take a shower immediately after a scouting trip, scrubbing with a rough washcloth, pretty much takes care of the little demons. A spray with deep woods Off applied to your boot tops with the pants cuffs tucked in the boots is further insurance against a really serious case of itchy bumps that last for a week. Striper

I just looked them up on the net. Those things are ugly, vicious little beggers.

Looks like your going to need some Calamine Lotion for those bites.

AW
I really enjoyed the picture. I reminded me of politicians on both sides of the border . . . six arms to grab the money accompanied by blood sucking parts.
