O/T My Morning Suprise

Post by Farmer »

Had a neighbour stop in this morning to tell me that someone drove a car into my corn field :!:  Then they lit it on fire    . The corn is still green so no danger of losing the crop. The car is 100 percent toast. The police come, fire dept. and a ramp truck takes the car away. But guess who gets to clean up the glass ( the side windows blew out ) and the belts an other wires from the tires .

This is the 3rd little incident in as many years.

Looks to me like they should be able to trace the owner from the serial numbers on the car frame, engine, & body. You'd think the owner or their insurance company would be obligated to reimburse you for you time & expenses.

Farmer we are having cars drive through our corn too; only a few miles away!

Maybe it is the same group?

Now that the car is toast, it could the end!

In most cases these cars are stolen so there's really not much recourse.

It was stolen from the city of Windsor about 30 miles away. Never thought about the insurance, maybe get the to clean up the mess.

Yes they were Farmer!

Two four wheelers and a three wheeler; too quick for me to catch on foot these days !

Still trying though.

Maybe may trailcam can catch them!
