Doe. Since you can see the eye and the ear in the picture. If that deer is 1.5 years old or better and it looks like it is; then there is a 3 inch space between the rear of the eye socket and the beginning of the ear. With a 1.5 year old with ears slightly laid back you should be able to see antler as the pedicle starts at about one and half inches behind the rear of the eye socket. True my eyes are not what they used to be but I do not see any antler between the rear of the eye socket and the ear. What does all this mean? It means good eating.
