finally!!!!!sighted in new exomax today

Post by bucklandman »

Some of you may of heard of my dilema with my vari-zone scope :? , well to make a long story short, a quick e-mail to excalibur, 2-3 trips to the sports shop and 3 scopes later i finally got to sight in my new exomax today,, and let me tell you, it was worth every minute of the wait...
At ten yards i fired my first shot.. 3.5 inches high,,
did not touch a thing moved back to 20yards about 2.5inchs high
totall 5 clicks is all it took to sight it in.. never touched the windage dial
I never did shoot at the same spot twice, but i kept hammering 1 inch pieces of black tape at 10 20 30 and 40 yards!!! Woohoo this is awsome..

Come on oct 1st!!!
tree stands are hung
shooting lanes cleared
2 tags good for either antlered or not
one hell of a good crossbow, with gold tip lazer 2's tipped with 125 gr hypershocks!! All i need now is for the season to open...

Bring it on!!!

Hiya Bucklandman,

Glad to hear things finally got straightened out. I am looking for a varizone to put on my Exocet 200, probably wait until the Carp show.

What was the problem with the first 2 you had bought?

I guess it was just bad luck,,,,
the first scope both the elevation and windage dial fell off after 2-3 shots(manufacturer defect)
the second one had what appeared to be a piece of rubber on the inside partially blocking the crosshair.. but the 3 one turns out perfect,, best darn xbow and scope i have ever owned!!!!
I would not hesitate to recomend this setup to anyone!!
