The bolt passed through almost three feet of soybean foliage before striking, and passed through the deer with terrific force. Both scapulas were pierced, as were ribs on both sides. As you can see, a large triangular shaped hole was cut on entry, and an equally large triangular hole was cut on exit. Both holes were clean and open. The blood trail was copious, and the deer ran only about 60 yards before crashing.
I find the Wasp Boss SST broadheads to be sturdy, accurate, and sharp out-of-the package. A good and efficient choice.
