Forest fires west of Thunder Bay

Post by Bowster »

I'm a little concerned about what is going on in this area too. Our group is to leave Thursday for the Dog Lake area west of Thunder Bay. It seems this is the heart of the forest fires. Info on the MNR site is a little vague.

If anyone has any insite into the status of the fires it would be appreciated. An 18-20 hour drive is long.
If the thrill of the hunt is lost, then I have lost.

not sure if this link will work. If it won't just go to the mnr site and it has updates on all fires.

That would sure suck if someone were to get a tag for a particular area and then find out your not allowed access. Oh well you could alway's spend the week working on the wife's to-do list instead!
