Pics from opening morning

Post by chris4570 »

The deer were no where to be seen this morning. So I decided to take a couple pics.

Exocet and Muzzy waiting patiently for a deer to walk through the shooting lane.

Very pretty. The only trees turning down here have been sycamores. It cooled off the last few days but all next week the highs are predicted to be around 80f. Indian summer. Haven't been up in the Smokies lately, but I'm sure the "colors" are further along. If you don't mind, where were these taken?

Regards
Joe

They were taken in southern Ontario.

Cool pics. Nice "highway" you got there. Thick isn't the word for it. Even the mosquitos have trouble getting through, but they always manage  . Only killed one this morning. The cool nights are starting to keep them at bay.
I hunt for memories, the meat's a bonus!

I had one that needed to die this morning :D . I started thinking they were going to be like last weekend on the marsh.

You like that shooting lane/highway I made? It's the only way to hunt that spot. Visibility is about a zero without the shooting lane.
