New String

Post by wn »

I have an Exocet 200. I bought it new last year. The string is starting to show some wear. I want to get a new string so I can have a spare just in case. Is the Flemish string a better string or should I just buy the standard Excel string? I have also noticed wear patterns on the serving where the "claws" hold the string is there any way to prevent that?[/img]

I am having that same problem with the center serving it is split where the claw holds the string on both sides.

It happens. I just go to a shop and get them to re serve the center serving. They do it much tighter and stronger. I haven't had much wear since. Now my new Fast Flight Flemish string still has the factory serving, which I'm gonna need to get re done soon.
