We have some resident cyotes that are getting too bold, no rabits left, and they have taken many deer, I have seen 4-5 kills over the last couple years. 3 bucks all in late fall early winter 4pt and two eights. one kill I came on very fresh New Years day morning, the deer looked to be in good health, they had run it around in a field buy the looks of the tracks.

Cyotes have been showing up close to the house and have tracked us in the winter while out night skiing, a bit of a worry with kids about.

Thier working thier way onto my endangered spiecies list!

Over the Christmas holidays I plan to use my accurized 22-250 and send some coyotes to coyote heaven. My chistmas gift to myself is will be the newer "Foxpro" digital caller. I have a score to settle after they ate much of my 8 point a couple of years ago after a twilight shot. First thing in the morning I chased off 3 hairy opportunists...I was pissed.

 I hate these critters, the problem here in the north east , is there is no year round season on them & the P.E.T.A. people who think They are cute and harmless dogs who need to be helped !!! They breed like rabbits and exterminate all small animals in there home range first , then move onto neighborhood pets and deer , and there packs have no feer of comeing into your yard and takeing off your pet dog or cats!! Our turkey population is down do too , there killing hens on the nests in spring . There has even been cases of them going after small children and hikers. We need to bring back trapping and a year round season on them . I cant wait to kill a few hundred of them !! GREYWOLF

I use the light force brand, I have the scope mounted model and paid extra for the next size up head, easily shoot 300 meters plus. I can mount it to my 2506 varmint with 12x20 by 50 Leupold. I also have the bigest hand held Light force, awsome power. They also have a large range of accessories. The best light available here New Zealand & Australia I believe.
If it feels good, DO IT.

GREYWOLF, Don't get the Nightblaster 350. I have one and it dose not shine 350yd. It's more like 80yd. I don't know how Cabelas can sale this when it can't do what it said, it can do. Good luck on finding a light.

I tried a police issue MAG LIGHT 4 D cell flash light with a scopr clip mount tonight ???? well at 30 yards I could see OK but the range marks on my scope were very hard to make out. NOT WHAT I WANT !! I agree the CABELAS lights are very over rated and wont live up to there advertized rate of distance . ??? This wont be an easy purchase, Any way my buddy Tom took a nice 6 pointer out of my stand that I got my doe out of earlyer this week , So far it's a real good season , I hope you all have great luck GREYWOLF
