I've posted a couple times, but mainly just been reading and learning. I had an Exocet 200 I won at wild turkey banquet and like a fool I ended up selling it. Now have a new Phoenix and really like it. Am in SE Ohio and seeing deer every night from ground blind - but the right buck hasn't come in yet. I'm in a wheelchair from a tree stand fall back in 1984. Have no problems with it though. Just killed a 250# black bear in Maine Labor Day. I just love hunting - sometimes I enjoy just watching the game as much as harvesting them. Very patient and wait for the right shot. Oh yes - I am a small animal veterinarian.

DrDan,
Welcome to the forum!
I'm in south-central Ohio (between Cincinnati & Portsmouth). Not seeing the usual parade of deer this fall, but I been taking my 6 year old son with me a good bit.
Went out yesterday and saw 5, but didn't get a good shot at any of them.
Still plenty of time, and hopefully cooler weather to hunt them this season!
