This video has been posted here before. Makes me sick.

The thing that the genereal public has trouble digesting is that these people in the videos are NOT hunters. They are simply people who know how to shoot guns, bows and cameras and have ZERO respect for wildlife.

I will not hunt with anyone who does not respect the animals we hunt or the environment in which they live. And I take every available oppertunity to educate the ignorant on "Why I kill innocent animals". They are wild, free, and will come to their end one way or another. As long as I provide that end quickly and humanely, then I have done my part.

I tell these folks to watch their cat torment a mouse until it is dead. Oh, but that is just nature, and apparently we are not a part of nature anymore  . I dissagree and will continue to take my food from the field as long as I breathe.
I hunt for memories, the meat's a bonus!

First time I've seen it (just got high speed recently) and I find it very disturbing. This doesn't even resemble hunting, merely shooting caged animals.

I did get sick by watching that. Some people should be at the other end of the weapon...... :x Here in Sweden we have to study for atleast 6month to get our hunting permit. Respect for the animals and nature is the most important thing during this course and I cant see one bit of that in this video.

CANNED SHOOTING

Post by SOUP »

THIS IS NOT BY ANY WAY-SHAPE OR MEANS SPORT HUNTING !!
That said I thank the Gentleman for bring this to the attention of the froum. As sport hunters we MUST all be offended by the portrayal of US, as these dispicable 10-15's ( check out the alphabet & count the letters ) !
Words are not strong enough to describe these clowns. I can not imagine anyone justifing this SHOOTING of " FISH IN A BARREL " ! I have a handicap as do many folks on this forum & most of us older SPORTSMEN & WOMEN -but should it ever come down to this -I think not-not for me & not for you !!!!
I guess this old man has said enough-at least on the web you can delete me.
Thank you in advance for your time.

I was watching a show on Wild TV last week, can't remember which one, and they were hunting hogs on a "ranch". Well this ranch also had an abundance of exotic animals on the property, so much so that the parade of animals that passed in front of the "hunter" was disgusting. I think they all go to one feeding area and lo and behold that is where the hunter is setup. The animals entered the open feeding area with no caution.

I don't understand how one could get excited about shooting an animal in that situation. I don't understand how one would want to film that and air it on tv. It's disgraceful.

However I did see an episode of Canada in the Rough, hunting black bear, and found that quite enjoyable. I enjoyed seeing the frustration and anxiety the hunter felt while trying to track his bear in the rain. Hunting is like that and it should be showed like that.
