First time use of a Trail Cam

Post by Bruno-TL »

Hunted North West Wisconsin this fall again. Set up the trail cam on two different stand locations. My brother-in-law and I have stands approx. 200 yards apart in the one location. Took pics from my stand on Tue and the bucks appeared at 6PM. Took pics from his stand two nites later and bucks appeared at 3AM. Hmmm

Well the rest is history. Opening nite both bucks appeared came up over the ridge at about 6PM and came and posed for me at the intersection of two trails. Talk about nervous. Well the Exomag did its job and the Big Guy ran 40 yards, stopped, looked over his shoulder and fell over dead. Slick Trick did its job.
 Wow. Took this 73 year old about 15 minutes to calm down enough to get down out of the stand. Finished off the season with another nice doe for the freezer.
