got busted...

I have my tree stand set up over a bean field, in a little inlet of the bush. I have not seen anything at all since the beginning of the season. Yesterday morning I took a walk around and there is 2 big scrapes in the field that where not there the day before, this got me rethinking my thoughts of moving the stand, the scrapes are about 30 yards away. Last night I scanned the bush edge and field from the road with the binocs, nothing, walking in, I look up and at the corner of the bush and field, at about 80 yards, Mr Bucko is standing there watching me..Busted... He took 2 bounces into the bush....gone. Was just nice to see something..other than squirels and rain. Hope he will come to visit me soon when I am already in the tree.

Glad to hear you at least seen some horns.

I have only seen a couple of does & 1 large scrape at the back end of the property I am hunting, but I cannot get back there now with all this blasted rain without chestwaders

Have seen a few does but not within shooting distance.
