tree climber

Post by BigUgly »

Was looking at a climbing stand today called the Non-Typical. IT's all aluminum and wieghs 19 pounds. Looks really good seems kind of expensive but I've never looked at them before. Plus it looks as if it has been opened before and I never buy anything that has been opened. The local store in Oshawa wanted 345 after tax. Is there a good climber out there for less. Please give me you thoughts I have one property to hunt that the farmer lets a lot of bow hunters on and don't really want to hang a stand.

For that price range, I recommend the Lone Wolf. I have one myself and love it.

I don't know how far you are but check out this link :

Dick's has the Viper Classic on for $139.98, a very popular climber by Summit, and at an excellent price.

You'll love how these things work! I'm hooked on mine, and they're easy to carry with the backpack straps...

Good luck.

The Non-Typical is made by Ameristep and you can get one from http://www.treestand.com for only$169.99! Steer clear of the Summit Viper Classic (ITS ALL STEEL) unless you plan on breaking your back on your hike into your stand! If you want a Summit Viper get the Viper SS in aluminum $234.99!
