RJ~Nice to see the island again and your pictures are great. Several years ago I was invited and went two years in a row during first week...EXCELLENT hunt and even better with a good dog! And just like on your trip we had strong west winds as well. Back then they had 2 other smaller ferrys but even so we faced a layover as water levels in the harbour were too low that day for the boat to make it in.
Some day I need to get back and explore more of the island.

Looks like a beautiful spot. Love the shot with the hen in flight and the gun right on her :D . Very nice memorial too.

youre right the memorial does leave a lump in your throat especially when you knew one of the hunters we lost a great outdoorsman as well as a much needed doctor.

Yep ... somebody is missing each and every one of them !

They will live on in the memories of their friends and family !

Hi there, I was wondering if I could use these beautiful pics on my website Discover Pelee (http://pelee.com). I want to set up a section on the Pheasant Hunt. Thanks for considering.

Claudia - I reached out to Rick and he is away for a bit but he wanted me to tell you that there would be no problem using his photos. I dont think you can PM (Privaate Messaging) with only 1 post. I would like to get your info to send to Rick.
