I just watch a buck cross an 800 yard wide field without ever taken his nose off the ground. The buck never paused once as he walked, almost trotted, across the field. Does this mean that the "rut" is on here in Ohio?
The rut is in here in Ohio, the bucks are chasing, I have been watching them for about two weeks, the does are starting to stand already, the buck I shot two weeks ago was trailing a doe, good luck guys!
