first archery buck (exomag)

Post by nelly »

Well after countless hours in the stand trying to get a shot at a monster buck that once was 55 yrds from my stand this nice 8 pointer came crashing through the bush after some does. He was coming fast and i only had a small window for a shot. I was unable to get him stopped, but he slowed enough for me to take a comfortable 33yrd shot. The arrow was a touch low and broke his far side shoulder. He only went 15yrds, but was still alive so i put another arrow in him to make sure he'd stay put.

Good job with the follow up shot. You want to make sure they are not going anywhere. Congrats.

P.S. can't see the pic.
