Best Youth Climber

Post by BryanOney »

Can some one recommend a light weight climber that a smaller child of 10 years of age could use. Can young kids use climers or are they to difficult for kids. Would like one that has a bar around it on the seat area for safety purposes. Thanks

Age of 10 and hunting solo, I would prefer the ground blind for him. If your doubling up there are several two seater ladder stands available.

Yes, the double person ladder standd or a ground blind would be perfect. Jack.

I have to go along with the recommendation of 2-man ladder stand, or ground blind. I'm taking my 6 year-old som with me this year, and we're hunting out of ground blinds. I'm thinking of a 2-man ladder stand in the future, but a young hunter needs to have close supervision when in a stand IMHO. All too often one mistake is all you get.
