No ATVs allowed on the property. We lease from a timber company and we are responseable for the upkeep of the roads. It can be a long dragif you are on the back of the property.

The camping are is located in the far corner of the property.

Wabi,
Funny you should ask about that. Do you know the SOB who stole the one that we had? We get down to camp the other day and no outhouse. So we call the company and ask where it is and they say that they just dropped it off 2 nights ago. People will steal anything.

No outhouse at our deer camp. Just a fallen tree with a nice view of the woods. Suits me fine!

We just put in a wood stove last year after a few years without heat. Got tired of getting up and chipping our frozen boots off the floor. Now it feels like luxury to be able to dry things out and warm up.

I'm getting too old to keep roughing it. I prefer to rough it in comfort and that includes my "solar powered outhouse light".

A.W. :

How do you keep something like that intact in the woods? Where I live the bears would eat that solar charger for an appetizer and demolish that privy for the main course!

I can't build anything in the woods without them tearing it up ... especially if it has any treated lumber in it.

Nice looking crapper, though!
