What part of Maryland are you from mdcrossbow. I worked and hunted on a farm in Kent County for 3 years.

good day geese

Post by Big John »

Well spoke with the wife about heading down for a Goose Shoot.
She said to far to go before Christmas.
I explained that I already have a section of freezer labled Geese. :)
And haven't been able to get any after 6 attempts, on a property that geese don't fly over. They won't even come near my properties.
Well that didn't go over to well. Her response was, if you can't drive there and hunt, and drive back same day, find someplace else this season. You've been going on hunting outings way to much since September. No more multy day trips till next season.
I said okay dear, I love you, and the season isn't over for a while yet don't forget! :)

John, wife's do have a way of putting a damper on hunting. LOL

Mine says see ya! I think she is itching for me to get away for a few days. The way work is going right now I'm done traveling for the year. I've been sitting here working out the best times for hunting ML season. If I have to make a drive any distance I make sure that when I get to where i'm hunting the deer will be moving.

I woundering, I have gotten 2 banded birds from Canada down here this year, are there allot of birds shot up their that are banded ?
