Home Made stuff
I have done a search and found lots of good home made stuff. Lets put them all in one place. Please post pics of anything that can be even remotely related to hunting, outdoors, or just helpful to all of us.
Being a Machinist has proven helpful...that and the fact I may be slightly frugel
I will start
Here is a Vault that I built. It is 6 feet tall and 30 inches square. It weighs about 750 lbs. It has 10 3/4" locking bolts. Keeps my kids out for sure

I use the mirror hole to mount the bracket I made. It is 10mm with a 20 TPI pitch. I know that is weird but it works great.

This is my kind of post, I could go on and on with this one if I had pics of everything. I too was a machinist and would much rather make something than buy it(I can also be cheap). Right now the only thing I have pics of in photobucket is my groundpounder mount. I'll add more later.

GPS mount for truck or other vehicle
Here is the GPS mount for my vehicles. It is just a piece of steel that is about the size of a pop can but shorter with the bracked screwed to it. It goes in any vehicle that has a drink holder.

Here is my Treepod for taking video while I am Hunting. It straps to the tree very tight. It makes no noise when putting it up. The base is 4 inch aluminum channel. The arms are 3/8" x 1" aluminum with palstic washers seperating them.
