Custom Flemish Strings - New Colours ?

Post by ComfyBear »

Due to popular demand, I'm running low on Brownell TS Plus string material. I'll be re-ordering soon. I was wondering if anyone interested in my strings has a colour preference. Please let me know.

My current colours are Dark Brown and Medium Brown

The available colours are shown below:

Comfy,

I like the string colors on the one you made me, but it might dress them up a little to have a few strands of orange mixed in too. Orange is a pleasing, happy color - many businesses use it to stimulate people to spend $$$.

Orange would be nice too.

Something that would match up with the bows camo would be spiffy also :)

:D
That would be mine too, but I bought the dual brown to differentiate it from the black and grey FFF factory string.

Since the serving material I was using was either mustard or teal, I ordered the Dark Brown and Mid Brown, hoping it would match the camo stock and limbs. However since the rail and riser are grey, its difficult to pick colours that will blend in with the entire bow. so now I'm thinking of either going with black and grey, or be outlandish and pick something that will be lively and contrast with the bow.

That is why I'm asking for opinions and preferences.

I think black and grey, will be too much like the Excal FFF string. Being made custom by you, if it were me I'd want something different from the Excalibur string (no offence Bill).

I think a black and red, or black and orange, or ever orange and red, yellow, something like that, would look rather sharp. But that's just my opinion. Either way, it all comes down to performance and not looks. :)

I think yellow with red dots and few blue and white stripes would work fine. Maybe Canadian flag at the ends...
