Straight down the pipe.. Oooh yeah.. *Again..*

Post by Pydpiper »

Typically I frown on destroying my own arrows, this one was worth it. Three arrows from a standing 50 yards..
This arrow was stuck, I had to put it in the vice to pull it out of the receiving arrows nock. I have ruined a lot of arrows like this, but never seen one stick like that..
Looks like I am up an inch, but consistently.. :D

Yeah, I should elaborate a bit, I shoot so much that the odds are on my side for seeing the weird stuff.. I am making up for the fact that I can't hunt for another week.. (small game..) I target shoot like a madman though.

And yes John, now that you mention it.. :D I promise I wont treat your arrows the way I treat my own.

Great shooting David. If you're such a "crack shot" with the factory string, I'd hate to see what you're capable of doing with one of my custom strings.

Pydpiper, I see that you are using bolts with brass inserts. How do you like them? Did you ever use the aluminum ones (inserts)? How much heavier are they from the stock carbon shafts (GT LII) with aluminum inserts?

The brass inserts weigh approx. 95 gr., I believe the aluminum weigh approx. 30 gr. My Goldtips with brass inserts, 4" vanes and 100gr broadhead, weigh approx 416 gr.
