O/T Any other musicians out there????

Post by TPM »

I've been playing guitar for over 30 years now. Played bass for a number of years also but gave that up about ten years ago. Played a bit of everything but considor myself to be mostly a blues player.
Just bought tickets for Collin James in February and Buddy Guy in April. :D

Cool. Wish I knew how to play guitar. My mom bought my dad a acoustic guitar for christmas since he's always wanted to learn how to play guitar. Our neighbour teachers guitar lessons so he's gonna take them.

Dabbled into guitar and drums when I was younger but then girls got in the way. :P

Never realized until recently that the musicians get all the girls..... :shock:

My son and daughter are both taking guitar lessons at the moment.

Trying to convince junior to learn "The second week of deer camp" by "Da Yoopers" so that he can torment us come next fall. :lol:

Yes Im only 17, but i consider myself musically inclined, took piano lessons when i was younger for about 7-8 years, and took guitar lessons for the past two years ... however i dont have any time right now for lessons so ive just been teaching myself. I just enjoy getting together with friends and being able to play. Some of my other friends are musically inclined as well, so its fun to play together.

I play the Appalachain Mountain Dulcimer ... some clawhammer (oldtime) banjo, and a little harmonica.

Always got a song stuck in my head. Matter of fact, I'm terribly prone to suggestion, so if you ever want to torment me, just name some horrible old song or jingle ... and it will start to play in my head!

Please ... don't be cruel.

Oh, no! There it goes ...

"I don't want no other lover; baby, it's still you I'm ... thinkin' of. Oooooo ... Don't be ..."

Been playing the trumpet for 36 years now; I have had people say I'm good but I don't think I am at all; but love playing gospel music;
