hey--i was wondering how long the flemish strings last? i have a 200lb exocet.
another question--i really dont like the excal quiver options. i was thinking of the groundpounder mount or the dan miller style. i believe that both of these are mounted on top of the rail(sideways). if im correct, does the arrows/quiver interfere w/ the view thru the scope? to me it would sit awfully high. or are you supposed to take off quiver before shooting(hunting)
thanks

Strings durability depends on strings type, how often it is shot, and how well it is taken care of. Good PM (preventative maintenance) will make it last longer.
You're correct that both groundpounder's and Danny Miller's quiver are top mounted. However, while Danny Miller's is mounted sideways (i.e. parallel to the limbs), groundpounder's is mounted perpendicular with the limbs (i.e. inline with the rail).
I'm not sure if either interferes with the sights, since I don't own either. However, it wouldn't hurt to remove the quiver.
