A few pics from this afternoon

Post by JR »

I was taking care of the kids this afternoon and decided to take them for a ride to the local bird sanctuary. I packed a few goodies for the animals as well. My son and daughter were giggling like crazy. My 3 1/2 year old son couldn't stop saying "pow" :D and my 1 year old was saying "dee" :) . Great trip and a few great pics. The deer are quite tame there, and will come within a few feet from the truck. They love apples and carrots. When we arrived, a couple of ski doos had just finished making a tear through the posted area . After about 20 mins, the deer were back. Hope you all enjoy the pics.

Nice pics JR, I guess the deer did not recognize you without your camo or they would have scatered. :D :D

The kids and I had a great time. We were there yesterday and there were more than 40 deer in the parking lot! Today was a little colder and noisier, but there were 15 or so still there. Glad you guys enjoyed the pics. I also had a little bird, (I don't know the name  ) fly through the front windows. It was wierd. At first it landed on the side view mirrors, then it flew through the truck , out the passenger side window.
