O/T The Liberals Will Take Your Semiauto's

Post by 10Ring »

Firearms owners, please check out the Feb 2007 "Ontario Out Of Doors", page 2 of the "Angler & Hunter Hotline" describing the Liberal Party's Resolution #42.

It urges the "Elimination of the personal use of automatic and semiautomatic weapons".

If there was any doubt that I would EVER vote lie-beral again (and there isn't any doubt I would not) this clinches it.

I think it was Bill T. that said "Get political, or get golf clubs".

Full autos are already out, but semi autos? Id like to see them even try. Every gun owners got atleast one semi shotgun or .22, so lets just see them try.

Also, Remington 1100's, Beretta 391's, etc. are still very popular with Trap, Skeet and Sporting Clays shooters. Browning Auto 5;s have a 100 year tradition of hunting use in North America.

Yes, we all know this but that was a direct quote; I think they are so unknowlegeable, they write statements like that.....and they want to run the country :?

What worries me is that we said that years ago about registration.

I did not make this post - I do not know who has hacked into the system but it sure is upsetting. About ready to dump out if hacking is present on here. I'll change my password and see what happens.

I use a semi-auto rifle, what's the deal. I don't see how eliminating semi's will help anything.

Just a comment from an American friend:

Ya'll had better pay attention, and fight tooth and nail.

Liberals know no borders, and they are bent on disarming the populace of our nations ... so that they can control the populace. An unarmed nation is a dominated nation.

Resolve to buck the tide, at any price. Vigilance is the price of freedom, and it isn't without cost.

I'm willing to pay.

Give 'em an inch, and they'll take the world.

NO compromise!

Liberals!
Loosers!
Our area MP is the only decent one there ever was. He fights them tooth and nail for rural views on gun and hunting related. I wish he would change parties! now I have to vote against him AGAIN!.

10 Ring. You don't talk much ... But when you do we all need to listen. I am with you man. The Liberal and the liberal think semiautomatic means the guns being used on Toronto streets. Historically, hunters have been a real easy target for them to pick on to make it look like they are cleaning up GTA streets. It is simply more of their big talk and push the common man around. I think they hope we have forgotten their 10 years of corrupt government where their entitlement attitude filled their pockets with our cash at our expense.

Thanks.

I don't post much these days, my big archery activity was 3D, with an Excalibur. I used to work quite a bit on our club's 3D program.

3D has "tanked" in this region and so our club has closed that program.

I have gone back into trap shooting, which has been something I have done since 1970. (I am better at that than I am at 3D  )

I still look in on the forum and if I have anything that is general interest or that I think might be of importance to hunters & shooters, I will post it.

They can't take our guns, if they're not in office. As far as I'm concern, I hope, and they deserve to languish in the "political desert" for the next forty years.
