My son found his buck yesterday

Post by mdcrossbow »

He ended up in 2' of water at a log jam. He was shot on and only hit one lung. I told him where he would most likely be across the creek in the thickets on the hill. He went to the creek and he came out of the thickets.

Nice 8 Pinot for his 2nd buck.

big congrats! The only thing about bucks this time of year is that they look so run down after the rut.

Congrats to your boy on the fine kill.. is he mounting him or putting those antlers on a board?

good deer for out here on the east coast 8)

good to hear.. i have a guy down her ein Va that does mine and he does wodnerful work. I switched to him since the past 3 I had done by other person werent as good as they should be since i'm picky about detail work.

I get the pedestal mount which runs about 325bucks... most I think charge 275-350 I think. I wont get mine back from this year untill late Mat though, just intime for the Va hunting deer show;)

Thanks Guy's, My older son Jon is really pissed at Jarrod because he saw this buck earler in the season and didn't have the time to hunt him that Jarrod did. O well , sibling rivery LOL I prity proud of him for sticking with the hunt on this buck.
