TYE . . ."hmm wonder how this works", is usually followed by "hold my beer", then somebody gets badly injured or seriously killed.

Maybe not in this case . . .would the deer be able to see the beam, probably.

In Ontario you can not hunt Whitetail with a laser red dot, unless there is a fog, mist, smoke or other obstacle between the laser and the target there will be no beam. Green lasers on the other hand will show a very dominant beam.

A deer's vision is based on a different light spectum than ours and they can't see red. I assume this would pertain to lasers as well.

That type of sight is illegal in Ohio and a lot of other states. Any type of sight that "projects a light to the target" are usually looked upon as a no no in many states.
