O/T chance to win

Post by brownie »

Hello there. I was wandering to all you hunters outthere, that if you had a chance to win an excaliber crossbow for a bid of $2 would you do it.

Please re-ply with a yes or no.

Cheers!!!

NO :!: :!:

Why, because I learned early in life that nothing is free or comes cheap. In this case, for one person to win something of value for only $2, several hundreds of folks have subsidize not only the winner, but also the organizer.

Case in point, with 50/50 draws, the only people who are guaranteed to gain are the organizers, while hundreds of folks hope to be the one lucky "sod" who gets a lot for very little. Personally, I don't like subsidizing either of them.

I suppose you've guessed that I don't buy lottery tickets either, since they go against my principles.
