A member on another foum (he is less active here) is making some very nice strings, I have a bunch of them and will get some pictures up when I get a moment today.

Boo is making me a pink, black and white string. :)

I still need to snag one of Lou's strings also.

Think I may also read up on how to make strings, and give it a go myself. Looks like something I may like to do.

Here are a few strings I got from him, first two one the left are FFF, the rest are Dacron, an assortment of Flemish and endless loop.

The second photo is the loop end of a string that is so beautiful to look at it will never see action on my crossbow, Don calls the serving colour camo, it changes colour and intensity with the light. What I really like about his strings is that each one is made different, some have the loops served in one colour then wrapped in another..
Artwork with function!

Now I want that red white and blue one too! Got to have something to hunt with on the 4th of July!

While I am bragging about my strings..

He also made a string for my Astro Daco, OK, 2. When he found out it was for my young son he beefed up the string count a bit to slow my sting down and make life easier on the old Dacos limbs, it doubled the value of the old crossbow. :D

He can make any string for any bow, as long as you know what you are after.

I want one for my maxpoint, comfy does not make those. I love Lou's strings on my recurves, the servings are better than store bought.

Rebel, I've got 3. 1 Dacron and 2 Fast Flight.

I'll take a picture of them later today, I was just outside shooting one of the Fast Flight strings on my Vixen, and it could just be me but it seems quieter than my other strings. So far, I like it very much.
